At our Mother’s Day event in Yakima Washington on Sunday, May 10th, the Pages & Petals Mother’s Day Bazaar offers a joyful outdoor celebration on 4 beautifully landscaped acres at Peach Tree Retirement Center. It’s the perfect place for families to relax, play, eat, shop, and create lasting memories together.
You can enjoy a relaxed day filled with things the whole family will love. For example, there will be family-friendly oldies mixed with uplifting Christian music. In addition, you can choose your own pancake stack bar, enjoy hot dogs with all the toppings, sip refreshing Spritizin’ Boba drinks, and try sweet treats from Chey’s Dessert Delights at Peach Tree.
Moreover, there will be beautiful hand-crafted vendors offering suncatchers, custom t-shirts, mugs, and artisan gifts. At the same time, kids can participate in the Garden on the Go by planting seeds or taking home plant starts. Furthermore, there will be fun outdoor games like bingo and Connect Four, plus plenty of space to run and play, and a photo booth to capture sweet family memories.
Because everything is set up on our spacious, single-level grounds, grandparents, parents, and kids can all enjoy the day comfortably.
What makes this day truly special, however, is the heart behind it. You’ll find faith-based vendors like Testify Swag Official offering statement wear announcing God, including David and Goliath Giant Slayers T-shirts and Armor of God items, along with Whispa’ah Vault Bloom Bar for DIY flower bouquets.
Most importantly, the highlight for many families is the Pages & Petals Young Writers Adventure. Kids in Kindergarten through 9th grade can write short “Then vs. Now” faith stories. Meanwhile, our Peachy Family seniors will personally read every entry. As a result, every child receives a special Mother’s Day gift to give to Mom or a mother-figure. Finalists are celebrated at 2:00 PM in a touching intergenerational moment.
Therefore, this event is a perfect activity where many families plan to come and relax for the day, while others stop by after church. It’s a welcoming space where everyone feels like part of the family.
