Vendor With Purpose: Supporting Young Writers Across the Yakima Valley
Pages & Petals Mother’s Day Bazaar
Are you interested in participating in an event where your business presence also helps uplift Yakima Valley youth and rising voices?
If so, we’d love to welcome you.
Thank you for your interest in vending at the Pages & Petals Mother’s Day Bazaar, hosted at Peach Tree Retirement Center. This community-centered event supports the Pages & Petals Young Writers Adventure, celebrating and encouraging young writers from the Yakima Valley and surrounding areas—from Ellensburg to Sunnyside.
Why Your Participation Matters
Through your participation and support of the Pages & Petals Young Writers Adventure, your vendor fees help sponsor Yakima Valley’s rising authors, faith-based leaders, and entrepreneurs.
Thank you for being part of something that truly invests in the next generation.
Vendor Families & Young Writers — Please Read
Vendor families are an important part of this mission.
Children of participating vendors are welcome and encouraged to take part in the Pages & Petals Young Writers Adventure, making this a truly family-centered, community-building experience.
How to Participate
Parents/guardians must visit PeachTreeRetirement.com, review all guidelines, and complete the full registration form.
Please include:
Child’s first name
Age
Chosen writing topic
If you are a vendor and your child is participating, please write “Vendor” on the back of all written and illustrated submissions.
Fairness & Transparency
Being a vendor does not increase a child’s chance of winning. All entries are reviewed fairly and independently.
If Your Child Is Selected
We are happy to announce and honor you and your child at your booth, if preferred.
Vendors must arrange for someone to bring their child to the event.
Children may not remain unattended at vendor booths.
A finalists/winners list will be available the morning of the event.
Please plan for your child to arrive by 1:45 p.m. for the 2:00 p.m. ceremony, regardless of early notification.
Booth Coverage & Care
Vendors are responsible for arranging a helper to watch their booth if stepping away.
If stepping away is not possible, we will bring a plate of food to you and your child.
Please notify event staff the day of the event and in any related emails if your child has entered.
